Research into the conservation and sustainability of the Lowland Tropical Swamp Forest in South Central Kalimantan.

Accommodation construction

Building an accommodation building at Sitia Alam scientific base camp.

Banga and Natai Lengukuas, Kalimantan

Jetty, walkway and kitchen construction

Building a wet and dry season roofed jetty on the river Banga and begin a 700m walkway from the bridge to the Sitia natural laboratory. Also building a kitchen area at the Natai Lengkuas scientific base camp in Tanjung Putting.

Completing a 700m walkway to the natural laboratory on the river Banga. Building a stilted accommodation hut in the laboratory.

Building an accommodation hut and viewing platform at Kali Biru. Assist PHPA in the mapping of a 4km proposed site for a Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary project.

Kanikeh and Roho, Seram

Ranger post construction

Built a Rangers Post at the river junction between Kanikeh and Roho. The group also had the mission to climb Mt Binaya alongside the Indonesian jungle survival experts, Rakata.
