Dedication to Sarah, 14th April 2008

It is with great sadness that we heard the news of Sarah Howards' tragic death in Ecuador on Saturday 12thApril. Sarah was a great friend and colleague to many many people. She will be sorely missed and our heart goes out to her family and friends.Sarah Howard in San Pedro, Belize

Sarah had a real passion for travel and had dedicated her life to combining this with helping those less fortunate than her. She worked for the charity Trekforce Expeditions from late 2004 - 2006 and her enthusiasm and love of life and people made her one of the most popular members of staff. She worked in Belize, Central America, organising valuable conservation, community and teaching projects for the majority of this time and her memory will live forever in the hearts of her Belizean friends.

Sarah dedicated her life to helping others; if we all took a little of her passion for life and her humility in conduct we would have all gained from the life and memory of a wonderful person. With much jungle love and hugs. From all at Trekforce and anyone that knew Sarah. x

"Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die."

Death can never be the end.
