A CASEVAC (casualty evacuation) is the procedure for removing a casualty from the jungle environment for treatment. In the worst case scenario this requires the use of our helicopter support. Full evacuation plans are drawn up for each project and known fully to all members of staff.
During jungle training, you will learn these procedures in the event of an emergency, either by simulating a helicopter arriving or a stretcher carry.
