When can you take a Gap Year?
A gap year is mostly taken by people between A-levels and Higher education, around the ages of 18-19, but it is a great opportunity at any age to take time out from your life to do something different.
Gap years don't necessarily have to be a year in length, so getting away could be fitted in:
- After school
- During school/Uni holidays
- During/after Uni
- In between jobs
- In retirement!
The important thing to remember is that you can take a gap year whenever you want. Not taking one when you're 19 years old doesn't comdemn you to a life without the experiences your friends have had! Whenever you feel like you want to do something different or take break from life, then a gap year could be for you.
