Why Pay to Volunteer?

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES & BREAKDOWN OF EXPEDITION COSTS

"It was great to see that Trekforce exists because you are all passionate about what you do, rather than it being a purely money-making Gap Year company like so many of them. I really feel that I am going to take part in a worthwhile experience." Trekker 2007

We strongly believe that the money you raise towards your expedition should be spent where it is needed most - in the countries that we visit and on the vital conservation projects that we work hard to complete. Our small office team in Northumberland work hard to constantly ensure that our UK costs are kept to a minimum and that each pound we spend goes as far as possible overseas to help the communities and projects we work alongside.

At the same time, each of our expeditions maintains an extraordinarily high standard of safety - a necessity of the remote environments that we visit, and an integral part of every Trekforce Worldwide expedition.

A list of exactly what your money covers is set out below, with a breakdown of how much goes where once you sign up for an expedition with us. We would be more than happy to explain this in more detail if you have any questions, as we think it is vital you know where your money goes!

Please give us a call on 0845 241 3085 if you have any questions!
