"The Borneo project was probably the most demanding 10 days of my life, both physically and mentally. After an intensive period of travel, and with little time to acclimatise, we were pushed to our limits without knowing what was ahead of us. This made the experience all the more rewarding, as we pulled together as a tight knit group under the expert leadership and direction of all the Trekforce staff and volunteers.

"If someone had told me beforehand that I’d be swimming through anaconda rivers in the middle of the night, canoeing down rivers and falling in at rapids and having to be rescued, walking through tree tops over 130ft high (I hate heights) and wading through swamps and drinking  river water to survive I wouldn’t of gone!
