Trekking in Belize

Belize is very sparsely populated, so the interior of the country beyond the Maya Mountains are incredibly remote. There are vast reaches of untouched rainforest ready to be explored, peppered with amazing sites such as Natural Arch, Chiquibul Chamber and Victoria Peak, not to mention the ancient Mayan city of Caracol. Howler monkeys are a common noise to wake up to, and at night time you may even catch the rare reflection of a jaguar in your head torch!
