We continue the ethos of Wandy Swales, Trekforce's founder, in ensuring that our expedition expertise is channeled into expeditions that really make a difference to the communities and cultures we work alongside. We are driven by a passion for adventure with a real purpose, and ensure that each expedition is driven by a desire to make a difference to the countries and communities we work alongside, and has a unique sense of team spirit promoted by our superb Trekforce Worldwide staff, who lead each expedition with the best back-up, safety and support in the business.

For example, unlike many gap-year companies we take qualified and experienced medics (Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics), satelite phones and VHF radios on every expedition.  We pay our leaders to ensure the highest quality, have a strong ethical and responsible travel policy and we are really passionate about expeditions and placements with purpose.

Trekforce Worldwide concentrates on providing unique challenges and real expeditions that perfectly match the needs of our clients and truly push into the boundaries of exploration and adventure. We do not offer expeditions 'off the shelf'. In this way, the ethos of Wandy Swales in continued, and we continue to specialise in unique and remote expeditions in extreme environments throughout the world.
